We pride ourselves as a Financial Services Institution providing Affordable, Affordable, Convenient & Efficient Financial Services.

Our History
- Transformed from the Union Banking Section of Meru South Farmers Cooperative Union Limited.
- Registered as a SACCO ON 6th June 1994 by the Ministry of Co-operative Development & Marketing as cs no 7178 with two branches.
- Opened our common bond to accommodate others Kenyans.
- We were licensed by SASRA as a Deposit Taking Sacco in 2010.
- We changed our name from Meru South Farmers Cooperative Society Limited in the year 2013 to Southern Star Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Limited on 7th January 2014.
- We have 8 branches across three counties i.e. Nairobi,Meru & Tharaka Nithi.
